Acheron Sinis: After a few ahs of travel by kaiila back, they finally reached Fehu Isa. Elise was completely surrounded by Papo and his men...Yes...Papo...Acheron was no longer in disguise. They rode up to the posts in front of the main hall...Slid off the saddles to the ground.
Elise Haraldr: ::she clings to the kaiila, her body and fingers cold, happy to be going home, but nervous about what may happen once she arrives::
Acheron Sinis: Papo moved to Elise and held up his arms to her to get her down from her beast.
Elise Haraldr: ::trembling from the cold she reaches down to him::
Lady Kessa: "No...your other left hand... yes." She poked at the thrall who was nearly the size of a bosk but not even half as bright it seemed. The thin stick jabbing into his calf as he perched atop the scaffold, hanging the multitudinous needle-tree garlands she and the women had been spending the last hand twisting together.
Annalyn Sinclair: :::entering quietly she paused within the doorway, a bit shy among these new faces.:: Tal.
Acheron Sinis: He took hold to her and eased her to her feet...Still hold a gloved hand to her arm firmly, he moved her to the steps of the front door....First talking to a guardsmen before entering..."Fetch the Magistrate."
Lady Kessa: Rolling her eyes faintly she jumped at the sound of the quiet voice, lifting her hand to smooth down the multitude of combs to assure she at least looked presentable amidst the decorating. "Tal, Lady."
Annalyn Sinclair: :::dark eyes look to the man from before and then the woman. A frown as she stepped forward:: is there anything I might do Sir? Can I help?
Lady Kessa: She moved toward her, the heavy woolen dress trailing slightly behind her, the switch stuck in the crux of her arm like some Miss America with her roses. "Please, come...in..." She blinked at the sight of Elise. "Lady Elise? Herrold?" Obviously flummoxed, she paused her questions and simply stood back to let everyone in.
Elise Haraldr: ::eyes sparkling with excitement, and a little dread she follows the man into the hall, seeing the Lady of the hall, a bright smile fills her lips, she's so happy to see her:: Tal Lady
Annalyn Sinclair: ::she frowned softly then realizing the light was playing tricks on her he only looked like the man from before, she was far more tired than she realized. Forgive me sir, you looked like someone else a moment.. ::blushing at her mistake she offered warm smile to Elise:: Lady, ::an incline of head given::
Elise Haraldr: ::she looks around the familiar place and at the gentle woman:: Tal Lady ::her smile warm and excited at the same time::
Acheron Sinis: The kinsmen guard quickly moves to the direction of the Magistrate's office to fetch Marius Canute.
Lady Kessa: Stepping away from the door, she tossed the stick into the long fire as she moved with haste through the hall snatching Fire by the arm as she did, speaking low and when she let go, the girl turned toward the kitchen and fled the room.
Acheron Sinis: It was THEN that Papo had walked Elise into the main Hall..Still within his grasping gloved hand...She was to be placed into the custody of the Magistrate upon order from Franz.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::moving past them she stepped to the long fire, hands held out in gratitude. Chilled she warmed herself, new to the city she was unaware of the drama being played out behind her::
Elise Haraldr: ::a beaming smile as she sees the Lady:: Tal Lady ::yes, she was still in Papo's grasp, but she's so happy to be home, she doesn't seem to notice the trouble she's in::
Lady Kessa: Turning at the High Table, her seat beside the carved intricacy of the Jarl's was just a small stool with a little cushion on it, but she sat with as much grace as was due. The bondmaid Tempest moved toward Annalyn, quietly offering herself to fetch the lady some warm tea or bracing mulled wine. Kessa's eyes pinned to Elise. "You, my dear girl, have had us all worried." Though it was true, there was a bit of chill in the Lady's tone. "I have sent Fire to notify your family that you've returned. Your poor mother was worried sick."
Annalyn Sinclair:::offering the bondmaid a warm smile she requested tea, she'd never had a head for spirits. Thanking her she took in the sights of the hall, hearing the conversation but not wishing to be intrusive upon it. She would realize that all the uproar she had been hearing snatches of was due to this lady. ::a glance now to Elise and away.::
Lady Kessa: Tempest bobbed her head and swished away, the kirtle of white embroidered at the low neck and high cut legs to make it her own. The tea here was made by the pot, simply because the chill made making it one cup at a time too lengthy a process for so many as they hosted with the city guard and all. The cups were bigger too owing to bigger appetites, but otherwise, it was much the same.
Elise Haraldr: ::she strains to get to Kessa, but she's being held back by Papo:: I'm so sorry Lady, I can't tell you how sorry I am, and Olaf, is he alright?
Acheron Sinis: Acheron...aka...Herrold now Papo again, looks to Elise and then to Kessa...
Lady Kessa: Tray and pot, cups and sugars, milk and honey brought out and set near so that the tea could be poured and adjusted to the Lady's likes. Kessa paid little heed though, being consumed with keeping her eye on Elise. "He's alive. Injured and rather... shamed by being unable to serve well enough to keep his charge safe, but yes, he lives." She folded her hands as she looked at Herrold, or Papo, or whomever the cleaned-up version of the man was. "You look very... tidy."
Acheron Sinis: He smiled to Kessa..."Thank you, lady.."
Annalyn Sinclair: ::thanking her for the tea she took as seat and prepared the mug, inspecting it as she did , always curious to style, such being the way of a potter.::
Elise Haraldr: ::she nods at the Lady, but holds her tongue since she is speaking with the man beside her::
Acheron Sinis: He walked Elise over to where Kessa and the lady Annalyn sat...And he kind of well...Plopped her to a seat.. With a look that said...STAY.
Elise Haraldr: ::with a small oomph, she sits ... stays ... good Ooboo::
Lady Kessa: "You're quite welcome. The baths have missed you." She smirked faintly, proving that though irked, she was far from furious, and that even the small touch of irritation was not directed to him. Comfort was swift to bring him a horn of mead with a wriggle and a smile, glad to see the scruff had been scratched off and wondering just how thorough his cleaning had been.
Marius Of Torv: Marius had word of the need of his presence and was on his way to the Hall.
Acheron Sinis: He smiled to Comfort...Taking that horn with a swat to her arse with his other hand in thanks.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::wondering if this had perhaps been a bad time to come, she sat in silence stirring the tea letting it cool before a sip was taken::
Acheron Sinis: He glanced to Annalyn...Smiling as he was glad she made it safely to there.
Lady Kessa: "Pardon me, if you would." She rose from her seat and gave a look at Elise that joined in with Papo's 'stay' look as she walked toward Annalyn. "Lady, please. Come and sit. This is a fortuitous day. One of our city's women was taken from us, and now, she is returned. "
Marius Of Torv: Marius had then walked into the Hall rather dutifully dressed with the same in attitude as well."Tal."
Elise Haraldr: ::a tiny greeting:: Tal Sir ::she knows she's in deep doo doo and shame overtakes her::
Acheron Sinis: He looked to Marius, the Magistrate of Fehu Isa. He gave him a respectful nod.
Lady Kessa: She gave a look toward Marius and bowed her head a bit. "Tal, Magistrate." She had never spoken to him for any length of time, but Franz trusted him, and so she did as well. "Do not be too harsh with her." She'd turn the hazels back to Annalyn.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::giving her a warm smile she nodded:: I saw the scrolls.. ::she rose and joined her once more sitting before turning to look at the man. An incline of head given, and quiet "tal " offered in return::
Marius Of Torv: Icy clear blue eyes moved to all there and he gave a respectful nod of greeting to them. He looked to the lady Kessa who spoke with him.."Has she had anything to eat or drink?"
Acheron Sinis: "No, not yet."
Elise Haraldr: ::she watches quietly from her perch::
Marius Of Torv: He looked to Acheron. "Then by all means, Let her eat and drink something first."
Acheron Sinis: He nodded and looked to Kessa.. "Lady Kessa...If you would be so kind..?"
Annalyn Sinclair: ::keeping her gaze on her tea she listened silent as the fate of the woman hung in the balance it seemed. A slight frown as she felt bad for her. Though she knew her not, she seemed young and who in the first bloom of youth had not made mistakes. With such in mind she hoped they would not be to harsh with her.::
Lady Kessa: She chuckled and nodded lightly. "Excuse me." Turning from the guest, she moved toward the kitchen herself.
Marius Of Torv: He looked to Elise quietly, and then he moved to the table where she was seated and he too took a seat.He sat across from Elise.
Lady Kessa: When she returned, she had a plate of hot soup and bread and a tankard of cool clean water. Setting it down where Elise could reach it. Twisting fingers pulled a spoon from her apron and set it down beside the bowl. Comfort was behind her to tend to the Magistrate, though he was working, and likely would rebuff, she was there to offer anyway.
Marius Of Torv: He waved away the offer of mead. "Water."
Elise Haraldr: ::she's so happy to be home, but she knows there will be consequences, with trembling fingers she reaches for the soup and begins spooning it into her mouth, remaining quiet and awaiting her fate::
Acheron Sinis: Papo quietly looked to Marius...And then to Elise. He then moved to stand near the warmth of the fire hearth.
Lady Kessa: Comfort was gone like an arrow from a bow, shooting with graceful quickness through the door to the kitchen to dipper out a tall tankard of water from the barrel kept just inside the back door. When she'd set it down before the Magistrate, she did a little peek to see how empty Papo's horn was before she'd get out of the way of what she feared would be kind of ugly. Kessa took her seat back, watching Annalyn with a look of apologetic warmth.
Acheron Sinis: He remained there while drinking from his horn.
Elise Haraldr: ::she picks up the bread and dunks it into her soup, sucking the succulent juices from the bread before redipping::
Marius Of Torv: Meanwhile, the building next to Marius' cottage was being swept out and cleaned and the wood hearth stoked and lit for warmth. It was to be used for holding the woman Elise until she would go before Franz and Marius for judgement. The building was divided up into small cells.
Acheron Sinis: Papo winked to the girl...And then lowered his empty horn for her to take and fill.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::the tension in the hall was thick enough to cut. She sipped at her tea, her list of questions put aside for the moment. Another time perhaps. Quiet as not to be the one to break the rather oppressive silence she warmed her hands on the cup offering an understanding smile to the Lady Kessa::
Elise Haraldr: ::a tiny smile curves her lips at Papo's wink, her shoulders relax a little from her tension and she takes another gulp of her soup::
Acheron Sinis: "Do you ever smile, Marius?" Papo spoke looking over to him..
Marius Of Torv: Marius looked over to Acheron rather blankly. The man made him slightly nervous. And to have him now as Kin, well, that made it worse.
Acheron Sinis: He smiled a little to him.
Marius Of Torv: He said nothing as he looked to his tankard of water, lifted it from the table and drank from it.
Franz Castellan: ::he was officially in a good mood::he had been out fishing on the ice and had caught another string of fish again:they were slung over his back::
Acheron Sinis: Well...That answered that, he thought.
Elise Haraldr: ::she finishes her soup and bread, taking up the tankard of water, she takes a long drink and sets it back on the table, her hunger sated she sits back quietly::
Lady Kessa: She covered her lips lightly to hide her own smirk at that question from Papo and arranged her features back into interested placidity. The food eaten, she motioned for Comfort to clear it away, folding her hands in her lap.
Acheron Sinis: Now there was a man meant to be picked on...And often, in Papo's mind..
Marius Of Torv: Marius kept to himself. Not really focusing his attention to anyone in particular.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::a brow rose slightly at the question poised and those odd golden eyes would glance beween the two men and away. The lack of response noted.::
Franz Castellan: ::he handed the fish to one of the girls who ..and it happened to be comfort..she took it with her nose held, his coat he hung up and strode over to the tables::Tal my good people
Elise Haraldr: ::her eyes brighten as she sees the Jarl, a beaming smile curving her lips, she nearly jumps out of her furs but maintains her composure:: Tal Sir
Acheron Sinis: "Tal, brother.."
Marius Of Torv: He rose to his feet. "Tal, sir."
Franz Castellan: ::he grinned at Herrold::Tal Marius, Tal Herrold
Lady Kessa: She nodded toward him. "Tal, Franz." She was keeping quiet, but watching, keeping tabs on everyone and their reactions to what unfolded.
Acheron Sinis: "Papo." He smirked slightly..After all...He wasn't looking like Herrold.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::turning to look she inclined her head in greeting:: <q> Tal, Sir
Franz Castellan: Tal Kessa..::he pointed to the girl moving into the kitchens::anyone for fish
Marius Of Torv: He looked to Acheron curiously and then sat back down.
Lady Kessa: "Not at the moment." She gave a pointed look from Franz to Elise, then back with a 'there's business' sort of way. -d
Marius Of Torv: "We have the woman Elise Haraldr in custody, sir.." He indicated in her direction.
Franz Castellan: ::he turned then with a serious frown on his features::he looked from one to the other then back again to the woman:: Marius thank you for your notice earlier
Elise Haraldr: ::she's too nervous to notice the change in names, her hands folded and twisting in her lap, she looks up at Franz with wide frightened eyes, her voice low and sheepish:: Tal Sir
Acheron Sinis: He gave a nod. "I will bill you for the medical expenses later."
Elise Haraldr: ::winces::
Marius Of Torv: He merely looked on and then gave a nod to Franz. He was simply following orders.
Acheron Sinis: "I have a man down for a few hands at least."
Franz Castellan: ::he moved over to his seat and studied the group:
Elise Haraldr: ::wide green eyes follow him as he moves::
Franz Castellan: :he curiously looked at Papo::seriously bad ?
Acheron Sinis: "He will live."
Marius Of Torv: "Do you want to hold court here, sir..?" he looked to Franz.
Elise Haraldr: ::gulps at the word "court"::
Franz Castellan: Ah...Good...::he had never met any of his men, he didn't really want to know their work::he turned to Marius::Order her to be held in the cells until the morning Papo will you guard her
Lady Kessa: "I sent Fire to alert her family, Franz. " She had done so when she spied them through the door when Annalyn had entered. "I thought they would like to know."
Acheron Sinis: He nodded..
Marius Of Torv: Marius stood then.."Sir.." he nodded to Franz, then looked to Papo with a nod to take her.
Elise Haraldr: ::she perks up a little at the thought of her family and turns to Kessa:: thank you Lady
Franz Castellan: ::he smiled at Kessa::yes it was a wise move
Acheron Sinis: That gloved hand gripped to the young woman's arm again. "Let's go."
Lady Kessa: "You are welcome, though no doubt your father and brothers will be far worse men to face than these." She moved her hand including every male in power within sight.
Acheron Sinis: Papo then escorted her to the building designated for holding her.
Franz Castellan: ::he rose then to his feet::and watched Papo take her to the cell::
Marius Of Torv: Marius looked to Franz and Kessa, then to the lady Annalyn. "Be well." Marius followed them out.
Franz Castellan: Well everyone, I have work to do, I need to organise double shifts to protect the Hall in case of... retaliation
Acheron Sinis: As soon as the lady was secured and guards put in place, Papo made his way back to the hall. He was hungry.
Lady Kessa: She held her tongue, knowing that the double shifts were not a bad idea, even if she did doubt retaliation would come. The dramatic portion of the day seeming to be ended, she looked over to Annalyn. "And now that is concluded. perhaps we can begin again, Lady. Welcome to Tyr'Odal Hall. I am Lady Kessa, companion of Jarl Franz." She motioned to the man bustling to tend to Fehu Isa business. "And friend of Papo, who is a good and clean fellow." Her smile teasing but that was how they tended to be with friends. "What brings you to the Hall today?"
Acheron Sinis: He heard that as he walked back in.
Franz Castellan: ::he would move over to Kessa and rest his hand on her shoulder::I will see you later sweet
Acheron Sinis: "I invited her.."He walked over to the table and gave a quick pat to Franz's back..
Annalyn Sinclair: ::smiles:: I do apologize for my poor timing it seems. I was invited by a man I met up at the cliffs, I'm rather sorry I.. ::turns to look at the man with a frown:: I'm sorry to contradict you sir, but I'm afraid you're mistaken. The man I met.. was.. well.. less well tended.
Lady Kessa: His hand covered as it rested, even for that moment, on her shoulder, she shot him a look full of meaning and adoration before she lifted hers and let his slip away so he could do what was needed. She settled back in her seat and returned all attention toward Papo. "A friend of yours? I will not hold it against you, Lady." She laughed lightly, proving this was not meant with venom.
Franz Castellan: I will see you all everyone..::he grinned to Papo::now that you're back we can do some tabuk hunting
Acheron Sinis: He looked to Annalyn..."Yes...Well...It was me.." He grinned looking to Franz..
Franz Castellan: ::and he walked the passages and would head down to his room::
Annalyn Sinclair: ::looking rather confused at the moment::
Lady Kessa: Comfort was back from the kitchen, having washed off the stink of parsit from her hands, now all clean and tospit scented, she slithered near to Papo and offered him everything with a look, though she doubted he'd take more than the offer of food. Kessa had learned to ignore the girls for the most part, and so pinned attention to the confused seeming Lady. "I do not wish to be discourteous, but ... may I know your name, Lady?"
Acheron Sinis: He smiled as he sat to a seat to the table. Papo slid his hand along that girl's arse with a smile while she set everything up before him.
Annalyn Sinclair: Um.. yes.. I'm sorry.. ::laughs softly still looking to the now handsome clean cut man and seeking the rather scruffy older man in his features. Turning to the lady she pondered this oddity as she spoke:: Annalyn, Annalyn Sinclair, I'm a potter.
Acheron Sinis: He then settled with a smile to the ladies respectfully as he looked to them while they talked..
Lady Kessa: "A potter? Wonderful." She smiled brightly. "I am pleased to meet you, Lady Annalyn Sinclair." She glanced over to Papo and then back. "He cleans up well. He was going through some scruffy phase, but now he has rejoined the civil world and shaved off that scruffle and put on some clothes that don't reek of the docks."
Acheron Sinis: He chuckled softly.. He began now to eat as he listened to Kessa's teasing of him.
Lady Kessa: She gave a faint chortle. "Please, make yourself comfortable." She looked past her and nodded. "Yes.. it's fine. Go back to Tem Reach and take the ladder with you." She flicked her fingers at the pair of Thralls who dutifully carried out the tall ladder they'd been using to put up the decorations for the upcoming Midwinter Festival. Sighing softly, she shook her head "Next year, I will simply have some man with trained jit monkeys to come hang things. Cannot possibly be more troublesome." She didn't like thralls much, but like any other beast of burden, they had their purpose. "Will you be staying for the Festival?"
Acheron Sinis: He smirked a little as he ate.
Annalyn Sinclair: ::smiled as she listened the tea finished and pushed aside:: I'm not sure Lady, my plans are rather still up in the air. Wherever I wind up I will need enough room to set up my shop, a place for my kilns, my equipment and so forth
Lady Kessa: "We've that, Lady Sinclair. Certainly we've that if you should find Fehu Isa agrees with you." She smiled. "I am not very wise in all that you'd need, but I know that kilns must have a lot of heat. Do you use charcoal?"
Annalyn Sinclair: No, actually I use wood.. Its easier to heat with and I find it gives me a more even flow allowing me to control the colors of my glazes.
Acheron Sinis: He watched as the lady excused herself and was led by the slaves to her guest quarters..
Lady Kessa: "Even better." She nodded at the woman as she made her quick exit to the privacy of a guest room. Turning then to look at Papo, she lifted her brows. "Alright. What happened." She motioned to the change in appearance. "Is it safe then, to be.. who you were? What you were?"
Acheron Sinis: "Its safe enough." He smiled looking to her.
Lady Kessa: "Always a brave man, no matter the name." She moved over to give his shoulder a squeeze and take the tea service from where Annalyn had left it to finish the tea in the pot. "And with Elise?"
Acheron Sinis: He smiled to her with a wink.."I took one of my men with me...We had been tracking her. As soon as she left enemy territory, we moved in on her...Killed the men watching her and took her into custody."
Lady Kessa: "I had wondered about your absence. I'm glad, then to have everyone back. It gets rather...bland in the hall without your um... wit." She lifted her own cup of tea and sipped it to wash down the urge to giggle. "You said one man was hurt. Is he with you? If so I will make it a point to thank him myself when I visit the Clinic tomorrow."
Acheron Sinis: He chuckled softly. He sipped to his mead and then looked to her.. "He is in one of my camps. My healer tended to him. He will be fine."
Lady Kessa: "Well, when next you see him, thank him for me. For all of us. The lady and her family are part of our tapestry and even one thread lost makes the image less beautiful." She rose and sighed. "I, on the other hand, have paperwork I must catch up on as well as preparing for our guests arrival." She shook her head. "Rest, Papo. Get some food into your belly and some... amusement if you can." She almost winked at Comfort who was all but doing a happy dance just out of reach.
Acheron Sinis: He nodded and smiled as he stood respectfully.. "Be well, my lady.." he bowed his head.. He then lowered back down to sit. His hand moving into his vest to take out the willow bark he needed for his own pain.
Elise Haraldr: ::she clings to the kaiila, her body and fingers cold, happy to be going home, but nervous about what may happen once she arrives::
Acheron Sinis: Papo moved to Elise and held up his arms to her to get her down from her beast.

Elise Haraldr: ::winces::
